I’m a gynecologist and obstetrician. I graduated in medicine, specialized at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and did a subspecialty in fetal medicine. For my master’s thesis, I looked at the results from the multidisciplinary team, Parto Ecológico, which I am part of.
The Parto Ecológico team has been providing humanized prenatal care for the last 20 years. We’re made up of obstetric nurses, pediatricians, obstetricians, anesthetists, and a psychologist. Our goal is to make the experience of pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding as positive as possible. We offer weekly meetings for expecting moms and new moms who are expats, don’t speak Portuguese, and are far from their main support networks.”
I also offer gynecological care based on scientific evidence, tailored to each person, and judgment-free. I believe in the power of listening as part of the healing process and building a good doctor-patient relationship.
I have experience in prenatal and gynecological care for patients who don’t speak Portuguese. I’m fluent in English and I love connecting with people from different countries and cultures.
